We have been carving custom made figures for various slot machines as well as repairing antique slot machines since 1964. The carvings are hand carved by my son Todd and myself. We take great pride in the work that we do and guarantee you 100% satisfaction. Each figure is individually carved from kiln dried basswood, The same way carousel horses and cigar store Indians were made 100 years ago. We researched how they were made and now employ the same process to prepare our wood. Our figures have realistic features carved in them; for instance each individual hair is carved on a full size head giving the appearance of real hair. I put in hand painted glass eyes and carve the natural looking facial features. There is a lot of tedious work doing this;however; the final work is well worth the effort. Each figure is approximately six feet tall and is custom made to fit an individual slot machine. The arms and legs have realistic looking wrinkles craved into them, also even the shoelaces are carved on some of our bandits. We have made special carving for Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Hollywood movie studios and have sent them to other countries as well. Many have found homes with celebrities.
